The group quickly realized they had similar goals and began making and playing music together almost immediately. Founding members of the band Redd and Gavin, recognize and owe initial success to former bassist Will Ross.
The group landed on the band name Redd & the Paper Flowers as Redd still releases solo music. The group is extremely excited to release their first collaborative album in 2023.

Alma Russ
Alma Russ - 4.11.25
Alma (say it like "Alamo") lives in Mill Spring, NC when she’s not on the road. She plays patchwork music: country, folk, and Appalachian roots sewn together to make something unique.
As a child, she fell in love with classic country when she saw The Country Bear Jamboree at Disney World. She became interested in Appalachian culture and music, started learning historic Scotch-Irish murder ballads, and took up fiddle at 12. Banjo and guitar followed, and then she made friends with a hobo who taught her to write songs, so that's what she keeps doing. Music has taken her lots of places, from the hometown bars, to church, to the highways, and she’s been bumming around the country playing her songs since she was 19. She spent a while performing as an entertainer on the passenger train in Bryson City, NC, and once she wound up getting 3 yeses from ABC's American Idol Judges on Season 1 and being sent to Hollywood, CA. She recently recorded a critically acclaimed album in an abandoned church in the West Texas desert.
Her influences include John Prine, Gillian Welch, Patty Griffin, Nanci Griffith, Townes Van Zandt, Emmylou Harris, Lucinda Williams, Dolly Parton, among others.

Austin Gray
Austin Gray- 4.26.25
The music of Austin Gray has been described as “a sweet fusion of Country and Americana.”
Currently residing in Memphis, Austin began to develop his unique style on the guitar at the age of twelve when he was introduced to the man who would kindle his love for performing. Jody Payne had just retired from 36 years as the lead guitar player for Willie Nelson and became fascinated with the skinny youngster about whom he told others, “reminds me of me.”
Several years after Jody’s passing, another Nashville legend took an interest in the young artist. Songwriter Jimmy Yeary—with CMA and ACM Song of the Year Awards—began to mentor Austin regarding all aspects of his career. Currently, the two even do corporate events together—speaking, playing, and singing— demonstrating to business people the purpose and power of mentoring.
Austin has become known as one of a handful of artists to whom audiences listen intently. His songwriting—lyrics and music—combine the influences of Jason Isbell, Shakey Graves, Merle Haggard, Sturgill Simpson, and Jimmy Yeary. Mix in a bit of John Prine with some of his original material and you might just have a picture of Austin Gray.

Kayleigh Mathews
Kayleigh Mathews - 2.1.25
Kayleigh Mathews is an American Country Music Singer, Songwriter, and Nashville Recording artist. Her love for music began at a young age with genre influences rooted in bluegrass, Gospel, and Traditional Country. Growing up in the southwest, she began honing her songwriting craft inspired by her hometown and life experiences, ultimately sharing a glimpse at life through song.
With her ever-growing passion for singing, writing and performing her original music, she moved to Nashville in 2018. Kayleigh knew the only way to feed the hunger within was to come to the home of country music, honky tonks and, of course, the Grand Ole Opry!
In 2020, Kayleigh released her debut single “Crashing Down”. “Every song I release is true and from my life in some way. I may not come out and say exactly what happened word for word, I want to leave some interpretation up to the listener. Songwriting is a way of healing, encouraging, and saving a memory for me. My hope is for my music to not only do that for myself but others after all that’s what makes music so powerful.” In 2021, she released her single “Unconditional” which gained international AirPlay on UK Country Radio. In May 2021, Kayleigh cowrote with her producer, Dave Smith, her song titled “Love Nashville” highlighting the passion and determination it takes to be a singer/songwriter in today’s music.
Kayleigh released her newest EP “Turn Out The Lights” on October 21st 2022. With a successful national touring schedule that included the singing of the national anthem at the Cheyenne Frontier Days in Wyoming. Kayleigh was also recently interviewed on “Today’s Hot Country – The Fox” (Texas Radio), KVOI – The Voice (Tucson, AZ) and 92.9 The Bull (iHeart Radio – Tucson, AZ). Kayleigh newest EP “Turn Out The Lights”, is a perfect example in her honky tonk roots that is rapidly growing in success.

Willow & Jesse
Willow & Jesse- 12.20.24
Genre-bending husband-wife duo Willow and Jesse blaze a new path for the banjo, masterfully navigating a diversity of influences and unique perspectives with rich vocal harmonies, thrilling improvisations, and engaging stage presence.
At twenty-three years old, Willow Osborne is already a veteran of the Smoky Mountains' music scene. With fifteen years of stage experience since her debut at Dollywood at eight, Willow is a protégé of world-class banjoist Gary "Biscuit" Davis, a multi-award winning banjoist who played for Dolly Parton for over twenty years.
Willow was a staple banjoist and vocalist at the Country Tonite Theater for nine years and the Medora Musical in North Dakota for two years. She represented Tennessee in the IMAX documentary "America's Musical Journey" and has shared the stage with the likes of Dolly Parton, Aloe Blacc, Daniel Donato, Joscho Stephan, and Grace Bowers, among countless others.
Twenty-three-year-old multi-instrumentalist Jesse Blue Eads has forged his own career path as an artist in the truest sense. While most widely known as east Tennessee’s up-and-coming innovator of jazz and progressive music on the five-string banjo, most of Jesse’s career was spent as a versatile and charismatic bassist and guitarist in Los Angeles before moving to Pigeon Forge in 2021.
Jesse’s reputation for marrying complex and diverse musical ideas with a strong sense of soul and intuition has led him to play multiple instruments on stage with titans such as Joe Craven (Jerry Garcia, David Grisman), Kory Caudill (Tyler Childers, Justin Moore), Chris Blue (The Voice), and bluegrass band Water Tower. He has also worked extensively as a mandolinist, vocalist, producer, and keyboardist.
