International touring artist Mountain Son is a country blues singer/songwriter new to the Nashville music scene. Over the last 5 years he has played more than 300 concerts as one of the Northwest's leading independent musicians. He has released 3 solo albums, 4 albums with his bluegrass band The Muddy Souls, and has shared the stage with artists such as Willie Watson, Ramblin' Jack Elliot, Hot Buttered Rum, Pert Near Sandstone, Jason Montbleau, and Jackie Greene. He will be returning to the EU for his third European tour in 2025.
With a sound fueled by the tones of a resonator guitar and inspiration drawn from country blues icons such as Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, Fred McDowell, R.L. Burnside, Elizabeth Cotton, and Mississippi John Hurt, Mountain Son combines skillful fingerpicking and slide guitar work with songwriting expertise to create a timeless and original sound.
Mountain Son is also a founding member and vocalist/banjo player for the bluegrass band The Muddy Souls.
